BANK Bristol shortlisted in three categories at Trencherman’s Awards 2025
Contemporary fire cooking restaurant, BANK Bristol has been shortlisted in three categories at the prestigious Trencherman’s Awards 2025, which celebrates the South West’s top restaurants, hotels, pubs and chefs.
Following the first round of public voting, BANK is the only Bristol-based establishment to have made it onto this year’s shortlists, securing a spot in categories including Best Restaurant and Best Newcomer. Head chef and co-owner, Jack Briggs-Horan, is also up for the Best Chef award, alongside some of the most admired names in the industry.
With eight public-voted categories, the Trencherman’s Awards calls on the South West’s food lovers to champion their favourite dining experiences across the region. Having established a strong reputation and loyal following for its eclectic wood fired cooking, with an emphasis on social feasting, BANK will now rely on the support of its diners once again as voting opens to select this year’s finalists.
The final round of public voting will close on 22 January, with all finalists set to be announced on 27 January. This year’s category winners will be revealed during a ceremony at Homewood country house hotel near Bath on 24 March.
Dan O’Regan, owner and founder of BANK, commented:
“We’re always keen to see who’s made the Trencherman’s shortlists in January, so this is an exciting start to the year for BANK! Having been listed in the Trencherman’s Guide for the first time last year, we were delighted to make the cut for the Newcomer Award, but to be shortlisted in categories as prestigious as Best Restaurant and Best Chef is something else. To see yourself alongside some of the most respected names in the country – let alone the South West – means a lot. We want to say a massive thank you to the diners who continue to get behind us - not just in awards votes like this, but for coming out and helping make BANK what it is. You can’t have a neighbourhood restaurant without a strong community, so we feel very lucky to have such amazing support.”
Having recently extended the restaurant’s opening hours, BANK Bristol is open from Tuesday to Thursday 6pm - 10pm, Friday & Saturday from 12pm to 10pm and Sundays from 12pm - 7pm. Diners can book via www.bankbristol.com.
